Case Study: Next Level Improv - Redefining Advanced Improv Training
Background
Next Level Improv is a newly established improv theater school with a focus on experimental and advanced improv training. Designed for individuals who already have an interest in improv, the school aims to provide a space for growth, creativity, and fun. The target audience consists of professionals with full-time jobs who are looking for a fulfilling and engaging hobby that pushes their skills further.
Design Approach
To capture the essence of Next Level Improv, the visual design needed to be both professional and eye-catching while maintaining a fun and inviting atmosphere. The color scheme was carefully chosen to reflect the school's dynamic energy, balancing professionalism with creativity.
MVP Focus: Simplified User Journey
Since this was an MVP design, the primary goal was to streamline the process of signing up for classes. The user experience was structured around reducing friction and making it as easy as possible for prospective students to enroll. The design includes:
Landing Page: A clean and simple introduction to the school, featuring a concise description and a prominent call-to-action (CTA) button directing users to the class page.
Class Page: An intuitive layout consisting of reusable card components that showcase class details. Each card contains essential information along with a "Learn More" button.
Class Detail Page: A dedicated page providing an in-depth description of the selected class, with an option to add it to the cart.
Billing Page: A seamless checkout experience to complete enrollment.
Thank You Confirmation Page: A final step to assure users that their registration was successful.
About Us Section: This section provides further insight into the school’s philosophy and features teacher bios, allowing prospective students to connect with their instructors.
Outcome and Next Steps
By focusing on a user-friendly experience and a clear enrollment path, Next Level Improv’s design ensures that interested individuals can sign up quickly and easily. As the school grows, future iterations may introduce additional features such as community engagement tools, testimonials, and enhanced class filtering options.
